Date: Tuesday, May 13th, 2014 Time: 9:00am-2:00pm Location: The Mary Ward Centre, 70 St. Mary Street A Day of Mentorship in Action Loretto students have the opportunity to engage in mentorship from women who are currently doing work in which they have the needs of the greater community in mind. Students will learn from, dialogue with, and network with these women as a means to get to know what their own gifts are and how they can be used to do good. SPEAKER SERIES: DIANE REDSKY
Date: Monday, December 8th, 2014 Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm Location: The Mary Ward Centre, 70 St. Mary Street You are invited to hear Diane Redsky explain the 34 recommendations of the Nation Task Force on Sex Trafficking of Women and Girls in Canada Diane Redsky is a nationally renowned native woman leader. She is Project Director for the Canadian Women's Foundation (CWF) and facilitated the National Task Force for the past two years. She will discuss the 34 Recommendations of her committee to end sex trafficking as well as The Canadian Women's Foundation five-year Strategic Plan.
