Land Acknowledgement

We honour those who lived on this land in the Toronto area before Europeans arrived. These include the Huron-Wendat, the Haudeneshone and the Anishinabe, particularly the Mississauga of the New Credit with whom we made a treaty. 

May we never forget their legacies and may we learn well the lessons their descendants have to teach us about living on and with the Earth, about honouring the water that is the life blood of us all, and about respectful and just co-existence.
