3 | Did you decide to migrate? How do you prepare for the trip and arrival in the country where you will work? - April
If you migrate as a worker, your labour rights are the same as those of other workers; You even have additional rights, not fewer rights.
Countries establish legal procedures and costs for immigration processes. If someone charges you more money or expenses outside the legally established legal expenses, those are risk indicators in the immigration process. It is illegal for an employer to ask for your passport, work permit, study permit or any personal document to retain it and deduct or not pay you for work days if you get sick. When an employment contract includes a place to live, that place must have decent and safe living conditions, and the employer cannot deduct that place from your salary. If the contract is written in a language other than your own, someone should read the contract to you in your language before you sign it, allowing you to ask questions and clarify its terms. If you are going to migrate as a temporary worker through an agreement between countries, the Government of your country must provide you with information about the agreement, the type of work you will do, the nature of the contract you will sign, the benefits it will have, the duration of the contract among others.

2 | Migration and Migrant Workers - March
Every person has the right to migrate, which is safeguarded by international instruments (UN), as is the case with the right to work as a migrant (ILO).
Since 1973, Canada has created a Federal program to provide migrant workers to fill workspaces where labour is required and has also established bilateral agreements with some countries for this purpose.
Companies hiring migrant workers and temporary migrant workers have particular obligations to guarantee their rights and provide the necessary benefits so that their stay in Canada as temporary workers is in accordance with international and national standards.
