October at Mary Ward Centre: Seekers of truth doers of justice
As autumn golds and fiery reds carpet the ground, we celebrate a season of harvest, thankful for God’s blessings in our lives. While daylight hours grow shorter, and work hours feel longer, we recall the words of St. Francis of Assisi, “A single sunbeam is enough to drive away many shadows.” Let us remember to be sunbeams of hope to lift each other! Explore ways to do so with these opportunities we highlight.

We hope everyone enjoyed a rejuvenating summer with renewed energy to be a positive presence to others. In this edition we are excited to feature our new five-year Strategic Plan, successes with the UN High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development Goals, some important changes in our school programs, and current efforts to prevent human trafficking for FIFA World Cup.
