ARISE Ministry is partnering with the Mary Ward Centre to present a daylong workshop to raise awareness about the critical issues of sex trafficking, harm reduction, and the importance of overdose prevention sites, particularly in the context of ongoing community safety and survivor advocacy.


This day-long informational session will feature guest speakers with expertise in harm reduction, immigrant/newcomer lived experience, as well as advocacy and practical training, round table discussions, and trauma informed debriefing. Coffee, a meal, and take home resources will be provided.


The workshop is free for all to attend.
