On Sunday, September 20, 2026, Mary Ward Centre hosted the Blue Scarf Peace Walk in recognition of the International Day of Peace, bringing together people from different backgrounds, faith traditions, and communities to reflect on peace and take action for a more peaceful world.
“Christians and Muslims: What We Hope to Become Together.”
Based on the 2026 Ramadan message released by the Vatican, the theme focuses on
"Lent and Ramadan as 'catalysts for a renewed world'".
The Interfaith Thanksgiving Dinner, held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Sacré Coeur Parish Hall, welcomed approximately 30 young adults and individuals without family in Canada.
