The Interfaith Thanksgiving Dinner, held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Sacré Coeur Parish Hall, welcomed approximately 30 young adults and individuals without family in Canada.Â
The Interfaith Thanksgiving Dinner successfully brought together members of diverse communities for an evening of connection and celebration. The free event fostered an inclusive atmosphere where participants could build relationships across different backgrounds.
The evening began with introductions, allowing attendees to meet one another. Participants then engaged in "More than One Story," a card game designed to help people get to know each other and build bridges across diverse perspectives. The group also enjoyed an interactive Kahoot game played on their phones, which added a fun, competitive element to the gathering.
Attendees were treated to a variety of delicious Turkish cuisine, concluding with the traditional dessert Baklava, which was well-received by all.
The event achieved its goal of bringing people together in a welcoming, interfaith setting during the Thanksgiving season, providing both community connection and cultural exchange for those who might otherwise celebrate alone.
