Approximately 120 youth and adults gathered to celebrate Earth Day (April 22nd) exploring our relationship to land through storytelling from speakers of diverse spiritual traditions.

“Christians and Muslims: What We Hope to Become Together.” Based on the 2026 Ramadan message released by the Vatican, the theme focuses on "Lent and Ramadan as 'catalysts for a renewed world'".

On this International Day of Education, proclaimed by the United Nations, we reaffirm that it is one of the most powerful tools to prevent injustice and protect human dignity. During Reading Week 2026, four inspiring University of Toronto student volunteers — Skyler, Ishita, Solbi & Jina — took initiative and asked their peers a critical question: What do University of Toronto students know about human trafficking?

From a very young age Mary Ward felt a divine calling to do something special in the world. It took her many years to discern exactly what God was calling her to do. Many outer voices interfered through out her life, but once she perceived and embraced God’s inner call, she remained steadfast and her legacy lives on.

With new strategic directions recognizing our capacity for delivery, the Mary Ward Centre now focuses on youth and adults, no longer providing programs for elementary students. We are currently discerning how to make these resources accessible with a self-facilitation model (e.g. All About the Saints, World of Wonders, etc).
